On January 15, 2011, the 63000kVA/220kV three-phase railway balance traction Transformer independently researched and developed by Tianwei Baohe and fully independent intellectual property rights passed the assessment of all test projects including the National Transformer Testing Center's sudden short circuit test, marking China's first 220kV three-phase railway balance traction transformer was successfully developed. During the product R&D process, Tianwei Baochang first adopted the new SCOTT wiring form in China and conducted simulation analysis of the product's operating characteristics, and took effective measures in materials selection, shielding structure, etc. to achieve the desired results and solve the three-phase problem. Balancing traction transformers is prone to problems with local overheating, vibration, and excitation characteristics.

On March 3, Tianwei Bao became a 850MVA/400kV three-phase integrated transformer independently developed by Shatrabig's 2×660MW subcritical fuel power generation project. The main technical performance indicators reached the international advanced level. The product pressure regulator adopts on-load voltage regulation, which has created the largest single-capacity record of large generator transformer products exported by China's transformer manufacturers. The Shatrabig 2×660MW subcritical fuel power generation project is one of the major projects of the cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia and was incorporated into the “421 Special Project” of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. In December 2009, Tianwei Baoji successfully signed transformer subcontracts with domestic companies and swept all six transformers.

On March 17th, Tianwei Bao became one of the 750kV transformers independently developed by the State Grid Corporation of India and passed the assessment of all test items. The main technical performance indicators reached the international advanced level, indicating that Tianwei Baocheng successfully created the voltage of the transformer products exported by China's transformer industry. The record with the highest level made China's independently developed 750kV transformer go abroad for the first time. In February 2010, Tianwei Baochang competed with many internationally renowned companies such as ABB and Ahaifa in the bidding for power transmission and transformation projects of the State Grid Corporation of India, winning 17 750kV transformers in one fell swoop.

On March 24, Tianwei Baochang independently developed, and China's first 100MVar/800kV intelligent controllable shunt reactor with complete intellectual property rights passed all test items once. The test results show that the main technical performance indicators of the product are better than the design requirements, with advantages of reasonable structure, small partial discharge, low loss, low vibration, low noise, no local overheating, etc., and the functions of the intelligent unit and partial discharge monitoring software are perfect. The installation of the sensor does not affect the normal operation of the reactor. Intelligent components and sensors can operate stably and reliably under strong electromagnetic interference environment.

On April 12th, Tianwei Transformer Export Ghana, a 50MVar/330kV three-phase integrated core shunt reactor with complete independent intellectual property rights was successfully tested. The main technical performance indicators reached the international advanced level, marking China's highest voltage three-phase one The core-type shunt reactor was born, and at the same time it refreshed the China's export three-phase integrated core shunt reactor voltage rating record. In January 2010, Tianwei Bao defeated many well-known domestic and foreign companies such as ABB, and included a 50MVar/330kV three-phase integrated core shunt reactor and a 200MVA/161kV phase-shifting transformer covered by the contract. The company's strong competitiveness in the international market.

On May 24, Tianwei Bao became China's first 840MVA/500kV domestic generator main transformer with independent intellectual property rights developed in the Three Gorges Project underground power station. In 2007, with good operational performance and strong technical strength, Tianwei Baochang included all six main transformer supply contracts for underground power stations of the Three Gorges Project. In the product development process, Tianwei Baoji completed the localization of key components. Up to now, three main transformers have been put into operation in the underground power station of the Three Gorges Project. In August, three sets of products passed the full test of the Three Gorges project units for the first time and the major performance indicators have reached the international advanced level.

On August 7th, Tianwei Bao became China's first self-designed, self-manufactured, self-constructed, self-operated million-kilowatt nuclear power plant, a 400-mVA/500-kV generator developed by Unit 2 of Guangdong Lingao Nuclear Power Station Phase II. The main transformer was formally put into commercial operation. As of now, the main operating conditions have reached a leading international level. In 2007, Tianwei Bao defeated many competitors and included seven sets of 400MVA/500kV generator main transformers and five sets of 68MVA/20kV transformers used in the 2×1150MW nuclear power unit of Lingao Nuclear Power Station Phase II project. The successful operation of this product further consolidates the brand name of Tianwei Baobian as the largest supplier of nuclear transformers in China.

In terms of intelligent online monitoring equipment R&D, Tianwei Change also achieved excellent results. At the provincial new product appraisal meeting held on August 13th, the TWPD-2623 Portable Partial Discharge Inspection Instrument independently developed by Tianwei Baochang was recognized as the smallest fully functional portable high voltage electrical equipment in the world. Instrument, the main technical performance has reached the international advanced level. This product is equipped with a variety of partial discharge detection sensors, including all current partial discharge detection methods, weighing only 3 kilograms, is very suitable for inspection operations of various high-voltage electrical equipment on the power operation site.
