1. Avoid using gauze to remove metal shavings when operating a hydraulic rock drill. Do not blow with your mouth or hands—always use appropriate tools and brushes for cleaning. 2. When operating the rock drill, follow the "three good" principle: (1) maintain the equipment properly, (2) ensure it is in good condition, and (3) perform timely repairs. Also, adhere to the "four meetings": (1) know how to use it, (2) understand how to maintain it, (3) be able to inspect it, and (4) be capable of troubleshooting and eliminating issues. 3. Follow the lubrication diagram strictly for the hydraulic rock drill. Ensure oiling is done according to the "five fixed" rules: (1) fixed timing, (2) fixed location, (3) fixed quantity, (4) fixed quality, and (5) fixed person. After oiling, always cover the oil cup or reservoir with its lid. 4. Before drilling, loosen the locking device when positioning the workpiece. Adjust the spindle extension length based on the required drilling depth, then lock the device securely. 5. When adjusting the automatic drilling depth, first bring the drill into contact with the workpiece, then adjust the feed stop block to the desired depth and secure it in place. 6. Operators should regularly check the sharpness of the cutting tool. A dull tool must not be used, as it can lead to accidents or poor results. 7. During operation, make sure the height of the hydraulic rock drill is set appropriately—not too high. Keep the rocker arm and headstock clamped throughout the machining process to ensure stability. 8. After finishing work, return all handles to their non-working positions. Move the headstock close to the column, lower the rocker arm properly, and then turn off the power supply. 9. Securely fasten the workpiece before drilling. When drilling through holes, place a support block under the workpiece to prevent damage to the machine. 10. Always wear proper safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, to protect yourself from potential hazards during operation. 11. Regular maintenance and inspections are essential to ensure the longevity and safe performance of the hydraulic rock drill. 12. If any unusual noise, vibration, or malfunction is detected, stop the machine immediately and seek professional assistance.
