A new smartphone designed specifically for securing cryptocurrencies was unveiled on Tuesday at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. Cristiano Lop, CEO of Sikur, mentioned that the company plans to launch an encrypted wallet platform later in the second quarter of 2018. This will allow customers to use the wallet on other devices, not just the SIKURPhone, offering greater flexibility while maintaining top-level security.
The SIKURPhone will be available for pre-order starting February 27th, with shipments expected to begin in August 2018. Only 20,000 units will be sold at the initial price of $799, making it a limited and exclusive product for early adopters interested in secure cryptocurrency storage.
