On the afternoon of September 14, over 10 LED lighting backbone enterprises in Jiangmen City jointly issued and filed four major alliance standards: "LED lights for road lighting", "LED bulb lights for indoor lighting", and "self-ballasting for general lighting." "Two-terminal LED lights" and "LED lights for decorative lighting" are the four alliance standards.

It is understood that there are more than 300 LED companies in Jiangmen City, of which the level of epitaxial chip technology is close to the international advanced level and is at the leading level in China. Last year, the city's total LED industry reached 16 billion yuan. In order to promote the further development of this industry, which is listed as a strategic emerging industry in the city, the city proposed to continue to improve the LED industry in the industrial chain, especially the key links and technology for the supplemental chain and strong chain work, focusing on the development of downstream lighting. And application areas, through the scale, branding, channelization and specialization, to create "Jiangmen design, Jiangmen manufacturing, Jiangmen quality" reputation.

According to Fan Bangyang, president of the LED Industry Association of Jiangmen, the elimination of non-standard production is one of the goals of the development of LED companies in the city. The alliance standards for this time include four types of LED lamps for road use, LED bulbs for indoor lighting, self-ballasted double-ended LED lamps for general lighting, and LED lamps for decorative lighting, occupying the entire LED lighting market. The reporter noted that in the national standards, the corresponding performance standards for the production of these four types of products are currently only recommended standards, and are extremely incompatible with the market position of these four types of products. Because of this, more than 10 leading companies in the LED industry in Jiangmen City rely on industry associations and research and testing organizations, and in particular, make full use of the conditions under which national key semiconductor photoelectric product testing laboratories have been built. After many arguments, they actively organize experts.
