Apple prepares to split up with Intel to acquire AMD

An industry observer who wants to remain anonymous said today that Apple is preparing to split up with Intel and intends to acquire AMD.

He said that Apple and Intel are now angry, dissatisfied with each other, which fuse is Intel's Ultrabook. In 2005, the two reached an exclusive agreement, Apple seamlessly migrated to x86, and used Intel processors for five years in a row.

This agreement will turn Apple into an x86 company, which makes it gain decent interoperability with Wintel, so that Apple does not need to wait for the ARM camp to launch a processor suitable for Apple to meet the performance of Apple's high-end products.

Allegedly, Apple and Intel's five-year agreement reached an end, Apple rumors will use AMD processors to match Macbook Air. Jobs has always been an Intel fan, but he also said in his biography that Intel chips are very good, but Intel's innovation speed can not keep up with Apple's demand.

Intel's innovation is slow, and Apple has never been very helpful. Apple Inc. worries that if it starts to innovate ideas for Intel, Intel is likely to share with those partners. The amazing Ultrabook is similar to the MacBook.

Apple now hopes that its own ecosystem will continue to win. This means that Apple and Intel broke up because Intel and Microsoft are in close contact. The Wintel alliance is once again in full swing, which means that if you do not break up with Intel, Intel will be the best of both worlds. If Apple and AMD cooperate, or even acquire AMD, not only will Wintel be abandoned, let alone obtain a vast array of intellectual property rights and patent portfolios from AMD, inheriting and freely adding or modifying its own x86 designs to achieve different functions.

Importantly, if Apple is interested in acquiring AMD, regulators may not be too excited. Neither Apple nor AMD have a sufficient market monopoly, and regulators will not gnash their teeth. On the contrary, regulators will consider such acquisitions to strengthen competition with Intel.

The new AMD president has already laid off 10% of its staff, including many AMD executives. Does this mean that AMD is glaring at Apple?
