Haimeidi, established in December 2005, is a high-tech multimedia company dedicated to providing smart entertainment solutions for living rooms. With a focus on audio and video experiences, the company aims to enhance family life through innovative technology.
The Haimeidi H7, the fourth generation of its flagship model, is a powerful network set-top box that supports Bluetooth voice control and dual-band WiFi. This device was provided for testing by Fan, offering a glimpse into its impressive capabilities.
The H7 comes in an environmentally friendly kraft carton packaging. The upper left corner features the CIBN Internet TV logo, indicating its partnership with content providers for online video services.

The packaging is sturdy and well-designed, ensuring the product remains safe during transit.

Inside the box, you'll find the H7 unit, a remote control, power adapter, HDMI cable, and user manual, all neatly organized.

The remote control is made of black ABS material with 14 keys, featuring a central voice button for seamless voice commands and control.

A 5V, 2A power adapter is included, ensuring stable performance for the H7.

The H7 has an all-metal body with a black matte finish. Its top surface features a curved silver metal strip, adding a touch of elegance to the design.

The front panel displays the Haimeidi logo, while the right side houses a power indicator light.

On the right side, there are two USB 2.0 ports. While it's a 4K-capable box, the absence of a USB 3.0 port is a minor drawback.

There's also a TF card slot for easy access to mobile phone storage content.

Most of the interfaces are located on the rear panel, including antennas, optical fiber, AV, HDMI 2.0, Ethernet, and power ports.

The bottom features cooling holes and four non-slip feet, with product information and MAC address located at the lower right corner.

The H7’s compact, elegant design allows it to blend seamlessly into any home decor.

In terms of performance, the test setup included:
Camera: Canon 7D

Wireless Router: TP-LINK TL-WDR6300 (300Mbps dual-band) and 360 P1 (dual-band). TP-LINK was placed 3 meters away from the H7 with a double-density wall between them, while the 360 P1 was 4 meters away with a heavy concrete wall.
The hardware configuration of the H7 includes:

CPU-Z test results show the H7 uses the latest Amlogic S912 chip, featuring an 8-core 64-bit A53 CPU, Mali-T820 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB flash memory, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), support for 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols, and Bluetooth 4.2. It runs Android 6.0.
Security Bunny ran smoothly, delivering good performance.

Wi-Fi analyzer tests showed that the H7 can handle 5GHz signals effectively, even through walls. The 5GHz signal was significantly smoother than the 2.4GHz one.

Nenamark 2.3 test results were excellent, showing strong graphics performance.

Audio decoding performance was satisfactory, supporting most mainstream audio formats, including DTS.

Video decoding supports 3D and H.265 formats. Most 4K videos played smoothly, though some high-rate demos were not supported.

Some 4K movie demo screenshots are shown below.

The H7 runs an optimized Android 6.0 OS, with a user-friendly interface that allows customization and is tailored for large-screen remote controls.

It comes pre-installed with a CIBN customized market app, which removes original market software apps as required by SARFT policy, meeting the needs of most users.

Clicking on the homepage video link takes you to CIBN Cloud Video (Tencent Video). The H7 focuses on Tencent’s video content, offering clear and stable streaming. Live sports and King’s Glory are highlights, but non-members must watch ads and cannot access VIP content.

Support for SAMBA LAN sharing makes file sharing within a local network more convenient and open.

With Bluetooth voice control, users can activate the voice button on the remote to perform tasks like switching channels, checking weather, flights, trains, stock data, Baidu searches, reciting poetry, telling jokes, calculating, and translating—offering endless entertainment possibilities.

The H7 boasts a sleek, elegant design with precise craftsmanship. Its all-metal, black matte body blends effortlessly into home environments. Powered by the latest Amlogic S912 chip, it features an 8-core 64-bit A53 CPU, a multi-core ARM Mali-T820 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB flash memory, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), and Bluetooth 4.2, running Android 6.0. Performance tests showed excellent results, especially with dual-band Wi-Fi improving wireless HD video playback. Audio and video decoding tests were also positive, supporting most mainstream formats, including 3D, 4K, and H.265.
Pre-installed with the CIBN cloud video platform, the H7 offers a rich selection of high-quality video content. It also includes a simplified version of the CIBN market, along with browser and USB support for downloading and installing third-party apps. The Bluetooth voice remote provides full coverage with intuitive voice commands, making it ideal for both elderly and young users.
Currently priced at 439 yuan on JD.com, the H7 is a great choice for those seeking a premium smart TV box.
