Following the rapid development of LED lighting in Japan under the trend of power saving, the next wave of growth market has attracted much attention from the industry. Huaxing, an LED packaging application factory, said that it is expected that the LED lighting market in Europe will grow optimistically, but after the European debt crisis, the overall economic situation is not as good as expected. The delay in the progress of LED lighting is actually the result of the blooming of the LED lighting market in Southeast Asia. It is expected that the number of LED lighting will rise in 2012.
In recent years, Huaxing has also received orders for LED projects from Europe and Japan. However, the European economy is weak, the progress of the project is delayed, and the Japanese lighting market is not easy to enter. Therefore, in 2011, it has not brought obvious revenue. However, Huaxing pointed out that the market layout of LED lighting in Southeast Asia will be seen in 2011. Since the LED lighting products in Southeast Asia have been tested since the beginning of 2011, after the test period of 7~8 months, the final test of the third quarter begins. It will be used in commercial spaces such as factory offices and convenience stores that operate 24 hours a day.
Huaxing said that in 2011, assembly applications accounted for about 51% of the cost of revenue, of which lighting proportion reached 44%, backlight accounted for 7%, and component revenue accounted for about 49%. It is expected that in 2012, LED lighting orders in Southeast Asia will be assembled and applied. The proportion of revenue will be expected to reach 60%.
