Power Integrations (PI) introduces LYTSwitch-0, the newest component of the LYTSwitch family, for low-cost, non-isolated, non-dimmable GU10 bulbs and other space-constrained led bulb applications.
The LYTSwitch-0 unit provides energy efficiency in excess of 90% in typical applications, providing constant current regulation better than +/-5%. At 115VAC, the power factor is greater than 0.8 and greater than 0.55 at 230VAC, in line with the North American ENERGY STAR V1 draft version 3 consumer lighting standards, and the European Energy Conservation Design Directive, Lot 19, Part 2.
LYTSwitch-0 Important applications include low cost led lamp, such as candles and GU10 type. The RDR-355 illustrates a 6W non-dimmable led driver . LYTSwitch-0 is available in both SO-8 and DIP packages and is now available for ordering IC samples.
