From December 3 to December 5, the Fourth World Internet Conference took place in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. As a leading and innovative company in the virtual reality (VR) space, Xiaopai Technology participated in the "Global Industry Internet Innovation Sharing Conference" hosted by Galaxy. During the event, the company shared its efforts and breakthroughs in driving industrial transformation through VR technology.

The VR industry is often referred to as the "next generation of the internet," representing a new computing paradigm for the future. According to Goldman Sachs, the global market for VR and AR is expected to reach $182 billion by 2025, with the hardware segment alone reaching $110 billion—surpassing the current TV market size of $90 billion. Many experts believe that in the coming years, VR hardware could eventually surpass smartphones and PCs, becoming the next major computing platform.

Despite the massive potential, the VR industry still faces challenges that require innovation. Tang Jianhong, co-founder and COO of Xiaopai Technology, pointed out that the current adoption rate of VR hardware remains low, with a limited user base. In addition to high prices, the main issue lies in the low resolution and poor visual effects, which fail to deliver an immersive experience. This has dampened consumer enthusiasm, and only through technological and product innovation can these issues be resolved.
Looking ahead, the goal is to create a truly immersive experience akin to what's seen in the movie *The Matrix*. Technological advancement will be essential for the continued growth of the VR industry.

In the VR field, China is making significant strides. Tang Jianhong shared how the idea for a high-resolution VR head-mounted display came from identifying key pain points faced by users. "Why not develop a high-resolution VR device to solve these issues?" was the initial thought of the small startup team. This led to the creation of Xiaopai’s 4K and 8K VR headsets—world-first devices with exceptional performance.

At the Internet Expo Zone during the conference, many attendees tried the 4K VR headset. The lightweight design instantly transported users into a virtual world. Compared to 2K displays, the image quality and clarity were significantly improved, surpassing most mainstream VR headsets on the market. The 8K version, although not on display this time, has generated a lot of excitement. According to previous crowdfunding information, it features 8K resolution, a 200-degree field of view, and a latency of just 15ms. While 8K is not yet available in the domestic market, it is expected to launch early next year, with over 6,000 global backers supporting the project.

To achieve the ultimate VR experience, hardware remains the key. Tang Jianhong emphasized that the fiercest competition in the future will take place in the hardware sector. He shared that during the early stages of development, the team faced numerous challenges. However, thanks to more than a decade of accumulated expertise in VR technology, they managed to overcome these obstacles. This gave them the confidence and capability to compete globally. Customers have already shown strong interest, and the company is excited about the future of VR on a global scale.
