The working principle and application of TER yaw cable counter

Introduction:

Yaw cable counter is used to control the action of industrial machinery. Use as a motor-assisted control device through a contactor or programmable controller, for example. Applicable to heavy negative, the shaft is connected to the motor. After reaching the set number of revolutions, the cam operates the switch, thereby starting the predetermined action. A turbine transfer device and a helical gear combine one or more pairs of spur gears for transmission of motion from the input shaft to the output shaft.

The range of revolution ratios is from 1:1 to 1:9400, depending on the different gear combinations between the input shaft and the output shaft. The gear combination is connected to the cam that causes the switch to operate. The drive shaft and gear drive shaft are made of stainless steel to avoid oxidation or wear. The gears and drive bushes are made of self-lubricating thermoplastic material and are screened appropriately to minimize wear and maintain the accuracy of the coupling over long periods of time. The die-cast aluminum base of the limit switch is highly resistant. The ball bearing optimizes shaft rotation and prevents friction.

Thanks to the cam adjustment screw, each cam can be set with high accuracy. The auxiliary switches are all positive open, so they meet the requirements for safe operation.

Cam switch devices can replace potentiometers for connection to electronic devices. It is possible to set different speed ratios for each output of the limit switch in order to diversify the control of the machine and meet specific requirements.

Various materials and components have good abrasion resistance, and the device has good waterproof and dustproof properties.

- Pitch position and limit switch: The small rotary limit switch with internal encoder is used for the wind turbine pitch system. On the one hand, it can provide high-precision pitch angle, which can be used as angle input of pitch servo motor. The signal can also be used as a redundancy check signal, and it can also be used as pitch position and feather limit position indication.
- Yaw rotation limit switch: It can be used as the yaw cable unwinding position signal of wind turbine.
- Yaw angle position signal: The fan yaw angle signal can be provided in real-time using a built-in resistance meter or optical code wheel.
