Microsoft tablet hard to counter iPad

December 28, according to foreign media reports, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will be open at the Consumer Electronics Show next week to create new software for his tablet PC. However, insiders point out that Microsoft cannot weaken the power of the Apple iPad in the short term.

Keith Goddard, chief investment officer of Capital Advisors, an investment company holding shares of Apple, said: “When Microsoft released the tablet, everyone had an iPad. It was like the train had left the station. ”

The Consumer Electronics Show starting on January 6th will be held in Las Vegas. At the show, Microsoft will release a complete Windows operating system that uses ARM's technology.

Apple has achieved significant advantages because of its success in the Tablet PC market. Microsoft launched cooperation with ARM to improve its competitiveness. Goddard said that unless Microsoft's tablet features can rival the Apple iPad, Microsoft's efforts will not have a significant effect.

Microsoft's new Windows operating system is tailor-made for installing batteries, such as tablets and wireless phones. Chips using ARM technology are mainly manufactured by Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and Samsung Electronics.
