China's UHV transformer leading global

1000kV 1000MVA world's first ultra-high voltage (double column) auto-transformer successfully developed in China XD Group. This 1000kV 1000MVA UHV transformer was designed and manufactured by Xi'an Xideng Transformer Co., Ltd. and manufactured by Changzhou Xideng Transformer Co., Ltd. It represents the highest level of design and manufacture of UHV transformers in the world today.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Xi'an, September 6, the world’s first 1000kV 1000MVA UHV (two-column) autotransformer was successfully developed at China’s Xidian Group.

Recently, the world's first 1000kV1000MVA dual-column structure and single column capacity 500MVA UHV autotransformer independently designed and independently manufactured by China XD Group passed all routine tests and type tests at Xidian Group Changzhou Xidian Transformer Co., Ltd. It broke the world record of the maximum capacity of 334 MVA for a single column of ultra-high voltage transformers in the world, marking a major new progress in the technological innovation of China's UHV AC project construction and the consolidation and development of independent innovation achievements in equipment manufacturing.

This 1000kV 1000MVA UHV transformer was designed and manufactured by Xi'an Xideng Transformer Co., Ltd. and manufactured by Changzhou Xideng Transformer Co., Ltd. It represents the highest level of design and manufacture of UHV transformers in the world today.

The test results show that 1000kV 1000MVA UHV transformers have reached the world's leading level in terms of insulation tolerance, partial discharge, temperature rise and noise, and have achieved new progress over the same capacity of three-column UHV transformers. The construction of UHV projects will increase the domestic power transmission and transformation manufacturing technology to the international leading level.

Electric trains that collect their current from overhead line use a device such as a pantograph, bow collector or trolley pole.
